Next on the list was Aspera who is bidding to replace FTP, HTTP and other file transfer technologies. Seems reasonable, how long have we had those protocols anyway? Maybe its time for an upgrade? Aspera's claims that their fasp transfer technology dramatically improves the performance of file transfers over public and private IP networks.
