Storwize has actually shown performance increases in most cases while delivering 4X to 5X capacity optimization.

Storwize continues to gain traction in all its market segments, but it is seeing a significant increase in the server virtualization market. Being able to reduce the size of your VMware file storage by 80%+ is yet another reason why implementing NFS as the storage infrastructure for server virtualization continues to gain traction.
The significant news at the show was the introduction of Ed Walsh as the new CEO of Storwize. Walsh comes from Virtual Iron and Avamar. While it is probably too soon for any significant directional changes under the new leadership, at a minimum this is another step in Storwize's development.
